Exciting news… rural clinical stipends are available for Autumn 2025!!

The UW Premera RNHI grant team is pleased to announce that we have the funds to provide TEN stipends ($10,000 each) to DNP students interested in rural primary care practice after graduation. This opportunity is open to students who are able to complete RURAL clinical hours this upcoming Autumn quarter / semester.

Prior to applying, potential applicants should note the following eligibility requirements:

– You are a DNP student in good standing (this opportunity is not open to MN/MSN students) from one of the following WA universities: University of Washington (UW), Gonzaga University (GU), Pacific Lutheran University (PLU), Seattle University (SU), or Washington State University (WSU)

– You have completed (or will complete) at least 100 hours of DNP clinical before the start of this rural rotation. This opportunity is not for students enrolling in their 1st quarter / semester of clinical

– You are interested in rural primary care practice after you graduate!

In addition, please identify ONE recommender (academic or professional). We are specifically interested in recommenders who can speak to your potential and/or actual proficiency within a rural clinical setting. Be prepared to supply their name and email and let them know that they will be receiving a REDCap survey via email from PremeraRNHI@uw.edu. Detailed instructions for the recommendation process are outlined in the application.
